With the Sonnenkinderprojekt celebrating its 20th anniversary in October 2023, Namib High-School in Swakopmund is celebrating its 110th anniversary this year. The school was founded in 1913 as the Deutsche Oberschule Swakopmund and is one of the oldest and most prestigious schools in Namibia. The celebrations will take place from 15 to 17 September 2023 and will include various activities.
Namib High School’s art class has made some visual cues for the upcoming art exhibition as part of the anniversary celebrations. The Sun Children Project is pleased to share these beautiful images. The Varrel High School (district of Diepholz) will participate in the celebrations (as a partner school) with a delegation.
Namib High School invites all former students, teachers, parents and friends to join the celebrations to honor the history and achievements of the school.
