For two weeks a miniature golf course was set up on the sports field of TSV Schwaförden. Soon this facility turned out to be an attraction and was met with great demand. The fact that initiator Christoph Kaup and his team had hit the bull’s eye with this miniature golf course was proven by the fact that up to 50 people played on the course every day.
The use was free of charge. Instead, a piggy bank was available to collect donations for the Sonnenkinderprojekt Namibia e.V. The TSV team invited Arthur Rohlfing from the Sonnenkinderprojekt to the dismantling date and handed over a bulging piggy bank. Arthur Rohlfing expressed great praise to all participants: “That was a very creative initiative. I would like to thank you very much on behalf of the children”.
Rohlfing emphasized that because of the Covid19 pandemic in Namibia, the need is particularly great. At the moment there is a lockdown in Namibia. This means that despite the high unemployment figures, even those who have jobs are not allowed to work. “At the moment our main task is to distribute food packages to our protégés and their families. The donation of the TSV Minigolf Team will be used for this purpose”. Arthur Rohlfing thanked the team, the donors and TSV Schwaförden.
