Thanks to a generous donation from the Cusanus Gymnasium St. Wendel (Saarland), it was possible to install a much needed car lift in the training workshop for car mechanics at the Coastal High School in Swakopmund. This lifting platform is a central training tool for the Coastal High School. Many repairs are now possible because the underbody of the vehicle is freely accessible and people can stay safely under the vehicle.
Furthermore, a student exchange program between Cusanus Gymnasium and Coastal High School is planned with the support of the Sonnenkinderprojekt.
The Cusanus Gymnasium St. Wendel is the third partner school of the Sonnenkinderprojekt after the Gymnasium Sulingen and the “Drei-Freunde-Grundschule Scholen”.
