We have received the sad news that our guidance counselor at M & K Gertze High School in Rehoboth, Adelheid Kamatie, has passed away.
Adelheid never fully overcame her Covid 19 infection. During Arthur Rohlfing’s visit in September, she was still in good spirits, recovering from her illness.
In May 2013, M & K Gertze High School in Rehoboth became a partner school of the Sonnenkinderprojekt. Adelheid was a reliable and dedicated employee in the Sonnenkinderprojekt from the first day of cooperation. She has rendered great service and we are very grateful to Adelheid for the work she has done. We will always remember Adelheid as a warm, cheerful and dedicated colleague.
Our thoughts are with her family as well as Adelheid’s students, who also loved her very much.
